- The Bean Stock 2.0
- This lightweight trailer is compatible with midsize and compact SUVs. Tow it with ease using popular models like Subaru Forester, Subaru Crosstrek, Toyota RAV, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, and others that have a tow capacity of at least 1,500 lbs.
- Browse our Tow Compatibility webpage to see what trailers are compatible with your vehicle.
Beanstock 2.0, Meaner Bean, and Black Bean all come standard with Timbren Independent Suspension. Pair any of these options with our articulating hitch and you have an incredibly capable trailer! We’ve thoroughly tested all of our models on rugged terrain.
Additionally, we use better materials for our cabin construction. The entire body is molded out of a one-piece fiberglass shell with 3/4″ Space Age composite insulation. This defends against leaks and increases longevity. We actually have a lifetime warranty on our roofline, shell, and frame too!
Check out our individual trailer pages for specific specs.

Batteries & Solar Power
We assume you are using the fridge and lights, and using the vent fan only when you’re inside in the evening or during inclement weather. There are many factors that go into how long your batteries last. Did you leave your refrigerator out and sitting in the sun causing the compressor to kick on more frequently? What temperature did you set it to? Is the weather poor so you’re inside the trailer using the vent fan all day? Even the time of year can affect this.
Rather than list how long the batteries last, here are their energy capacities. This will help determine how long each option lasts comparatively. AGM Batteries can only be used till they hit 50% without damaging the battery. You will effectively have double the capacity with the lithium battery.
- AGM: 100Ah, 50Ah usable, 1-3 days normal usage
- Li-ion: 105Ah, 105Ah usable, 2-6 days normal usage
- Dual Li-ion: 210Ah, 210Ah usable, 4-8 days normal usage
- Black Bean only Quad Li-ion: 420Ah, 420Ah usable, 7+ days normal usage
- Goal Zero Yeti 500: 1-3 Days
- Goal Zero Yeti 1500X: 4-7 Day
- Any battery option can last for multiple days if you are careful about your usage.
All of our teardrops come with solar connection hookups! Solar panels are available as an option.
No, the AC depletes power at a higher rate than the solar panel generates power. Please, plan on utilizing a generator or a shore power connection to run the AC for an extended time.
Yes, but please be careful!
Our trailers come standard with a solar outlet. If you want to use your own solar panel, a non-lite-leaf trailer requires an external solar controller to plug a solar panel into the installed solar port on the trailer.
Solar panels will only charge and power the 12-volt system.
The Black Bean comes standard with an inverter that can run the 110v outlets from battery power. There is also a front box inverter option for the other trailer models if you have a need to use 110v accessories.
You could use a solar generator (like a Goal Zero 1500x) to mimic shore power, and activate the 110v outlets.
Customization
You cannot pick fully custom colors. We have 20 standard Raptor colors to choose from on all models (excluding Pod). Beanstock 2.0 and Bean Stalker will have matching sidewall and endcap colors, while the other models will have Black endcaps to offset the sidewall color. Bean Pod will have 3 standard colors, and can upgrade to other colors for $1000.
Yes, we are proud to offer a $500 military and K-12 educator discount!

Bean has a 3 Part warranty:
Lifetime Structural Warranty
We build every Bean to last a lifetime—and we stand behind that promise. The original owner of fiberglass shell Bean Trailer receives a Lifetime Structural Warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship in the frame, one-piece fiberglass shell, composite walls, and floor.
Limited Lifetime Roofline Warranty to the original owner against water intrusion through the wall-to-roof transition on our one-piece molded fiberglass shells. This warranty covers leaks at the molded transition where the roof and sidewalls meet, due to defects in materials or workmanship. (The Bean Squared and Bean Pod models do not feature a one-piece molded fiberglass shell and are therefore excluded from this part of the warranty.)
Bean Limited One Year Manufacturing Warranty
We offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty that protects against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions. This includes Factory-installed cabinetry, doors, and windows, original electrical, plumbing, and wiring systems, factory installed suspension components.
Yes we do. We often post updates and trailer walk-throughs on our YouTube channel.
Yes. Keeping it simple is the name of the game. Our trailers are made of a one-piece fiberglass shell, this means any local boat service shop will be able to fix any damage to the trailer shell. Additionally, any RV repair shop should be able to take care of you for plumbing, heating, and suspension related issues.
