This town’s not big enough for Gigante Bean – the name is Bean Squared! At Overland MTN West 2024, Bean Trailer officially launched, Bean Squared, an industrious new travel trailer made in Salt Lake City, Utah! This new innovative off-road trailer model boasts a squared-off design that puts quality materials, human-factor design, and of course, customer service first. With the ability to sleep 4 adults and cook inside and outside, this trailer is positioned to be Bean’s grandest flagship model. It has a spacious queen-size sleeping area, cozy fold-out-couch, compact kitchenette equipped with all the essentials, making this overland trailer your home away from home.
We’re proud to add a larger family-sized trailer to our model offering while maintaining the compact teardrop style our other Bean’s are known for. With Squared’s increased sleeping capacity, this trailer is perfect for weekend couples that want to be able to stretch out or larger families planning to be on the road for an extended holiday. Highlighting the trailer’s off-road capability and versatility, owners have the ability to take this rig off-grid and into remote locations of their choosing. With Bean’s proprietary Cloud Suspension (full independent airbag trailing arm suspension) damped with fox 2.0 reservoirs and 33” AT tires, this trailer is equipped to go where others can’t.
Designed with both indoor and outdoor living setups in mind, inside you’ll find a compact kitchen with essential appliances like Iceco VL Pro 45 Fridge and running hot water. The hot water is powered by the Truma AquaGo hot water system and supported by the Ecoflow 2kWh Powerkit electrical system. The exterior cooking area features ample prep space, with cutting boards, wash bins, discada cooker, running water, all supported by a 25-gallon water tank. For those looking to take Squared to the next level, Bean offers the ability to upgrade to one-stop-shop rack-out galley solution (not featured in the video above).
Reminiscent of Bean’s other trailer models, the fiberglass pop-top is another highlight, offering a spacious 8-foot floor-to-ceiling height when deployed, providing a relaxing living space with a laid-back vibe. For the cinephiles, the front end of the pop-up also forms a perfect wall for a projector, making movie nights a unique experience, especially when paired with the trailer’s killer movie-theater-reminiscent LED enhanced side walls. Notably, the pop-top doesn’t need to be deployed to enjoy the trailer. If you don’t plan to stay awhile, it can remain down, allowing you to still enjoy sleeping comforts—this is a great solution for inclement weather or stealth camping.
On the exterior, one of the standout features of the Bean Squared is its ability to mount multiple bikes all the way up to a motorcycle. In the back there are dual exterior storage trunks, and a built-in hot water shower. Of course, like all Bean models, this trailer can be optioned with multiple different exterior awning solutions.
With a dry weight of 2,695 lbs, ease of towing and small footprint living are key aspects of the Bean Squared design. We’ve significantly increased the interior living space while maintaining a compact exterior. One of Bean’s loyal followers recently emailed in, “There’s so much we love about Bean: the quality of construction; ability to handle off-road travel. We travel with two big dogs, so we’re excited there is adequate sleeping space and plenty of space to sit inside if the weather is bad.”
